Unprompted insights on how AI is transforming the way we work.

It's August. (How’d that happen so fast?!) And, it’s the kind of hot where ice cream melts before you can finish it, where asphalt shimmers, and where you receive yet another ConEd Alert that a heat wave is underway.

Yes, Julia does in fact have 108 unread text messages.

And while ice cream melts, so do Anthropic's servers—from the sheer demand for their supercharged new release of Claude Code that has the entire developer world buzzing.

How do we know? They told us. This week, Anthropic sent out a damage control email announcing new weekly usage limits for Claude subscribers. Not because they wanted to—but because Claude Code adoption has been so explosive that it's impacting system capacity for everyone else. (This is what “breaking the internet” looks like in 2025.)

Based on our calculations, Claude has definitely found product-market fit.

The email was polite but clear: "Claude Code has seen unprecedented growth... we've identified advanced usage patterns like running Claude 24/7 in the background that are impacting system capacity."

Translation: developers are so hooked on this tool that they're basically running it around the clock. They can’t live without it. And neither can we.

So, what’s all the rage? What even is Claude Code?

Claude Code aggregates the best models from Anthropic—Claude Sonnet 4 and Claude Opus 4—making them directly accessible from your terminal, for only $100 per month.

While tools like Cursor and Bolt (the original vibe coding platforms) are built on top of these models, Claude Code cuts out these middlemen and lets you work directly with the source, providing direct access to the most powerful AI models available.

Think of it like this: instead of using another chat app to access ChatGPT, you're plugged straight into the source. That’s Claude Code—optimized access for serious coding and software engineering work, right from your computer.

One Month in AI = One Year in Tech = 5+ Years in Corporate

In most industries:

  • Car companies take 5–7 years to ship new models

  • Pharma takes 10–15 years to bring drugs to market

  • Even Big Tech used to move on annual release cycles

In AI, those timelines are collapsing in wild ways.

Claude Code didn't exist in this form 30 days ago. Today, it's so popular that it's literally breaking Anthropic's infrastructure—and changing how we build, integrating into developer environments, running intelligent agent teams, and helping us deliver quality apps for clients much faster than when we managed a team of 20 engineers.

Why This Matters

Here's the real reason this matters: your competitors are adopting these tools. And when they do…

  • Their development costs drop

  • Their speed to market increases

  • Their margin for iteration expands

This week, we built a group chat app for a partner with multiple levels of permissioning, an AI assistant, dynamic design elements, notifications, and more. Building something like this just one year ago would have taken us at least six months with four engineers, two designers, a lot of back and forth, and even more project management tickets (we sure don’t miss that!)

We’re living in a rare moment. If you have an idea, you can build it. The barriers to creation have never been lower. The tools have never been more powerful. The window of opportunity has never been wider.

When you're ready to realize your vision, we're here to help you build it. Even if you’re just curious, you should book a call with us, we love hearing your ideas.

Stay cool (and stay ahead),

Julia & Russell
